在目前的Beta测试版WotLK中，玩家可以通过控制台输入各种宏命令来直接调整画质，比如细节水平或植物密度，TBC也可能会加入这一特性。由于游戏尚未完工，所以现在还不确认最终的画质提升程度，甚至还有人说根本没有提升，只是能自由调整而已。
